ESG, a priotiy?

Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) is a hot topic, though sometimes marred with ‘greenwashing’ claims and viewed as a tick-boxing activity. For the most part, SMEs aren’t required to comply with ESG policies, but increasing pressure from clients and employees who expect it has meant that some have voluntarily opted to devise an ESG strategy. Although people often think of the environment when they hear the term, the social element is also gaining attention.  In this issue, we discuss if it’s something you need to consider.
